At Milking Bank, we are incredibly proud of the wide range of opportunities our pupils have to represent the school in both sporting and academic competitions. Whether it's taking part in football matches, netball tournaments, maths challenges, or inter-school quizzes, our teams always show great teamwork, determination, and school spirit. These events not only allow pupils to showcase their talents but also help build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of community.

Our Year 4 football team were the first to kick off their fixtures this season. They travelled to The Link Academy to compete in their opening league matches alongside seven other local primary schools. On the night, they played three games and delivered an outstanding team performance—winning all three with impressive scores of 2-0, 4-0, and 8-0!
This is an incredible achievement for a squad that had only one training session together. A huge well done to Mr. Pritchard and the team for such a fantastic start!
The first competition of the year saw us heading to Stourbridge Rugby Club for the North Dudley Tag-Rugby Competition. We had two teams representing Milking Bank, giving 23 pupils from Years 5 and 6 the chance to take part in this exciting and highly competitive event. Both teams performed brilliantly in their group matches: our B team secured two victories, while our A team won all four games, finishing top of their group. The A team then advanced to the final, where they faced the winners of the other group. After a brilliant game, Milking Bank were 4–3 winners, crowning us champions! They will now go on to represent North Dudley in the regional finals next June — an incredible achievement in such a tough competition! A huge well done to everyone involved!
