The White Rose Scheme underpins and supports us to deliver a curriculum that embeds mathematical thinking and talk. The guidance is divided into ten phases and provides a variety of opportunities to develop the understanding of number, shape, measure and spatial thinking.
It allow us to create a mathematically rich curriculum and ensure that concepts are revisited and developed across the year. This scheme of work is used throughout school and therefore, ensure consistency and readiness for Year 1.
