Welcome to the Year 6 page!
Please remember to check the Year 6 Google Classroom page for home learning activities. Class teachers are posting regular updates on the Google Classroom class page and you're able to ask them questions here too. We are also setting work using Purple Mash. Don't forget to check SumDog, Spag.com, Mathletics, Spellodrome, BugClub and Times Tables Rockstars for activities too.
Year 6 had a brilliant day at Bewdley Museum. We dressed as evacuees and experienced first hand what life was really like during World War Two. We were even lucky enough to meet Derek. As a young boy he was evacuated from his home in London to Leominster and he discussed his experiences with us.
Following our time at the museum, we walked to the Severn Valley Railway station and were evacuated to Highley! We imagined we were real evacuees as we had our ID cards checked and stamped. Once at Highley, we played with some wartime toys and found them surprisingly fun!
